Installation Sonoma 14.4: Boot-Schleife bei [EB|LOG:EXITBS:START]

    Hallo zusammen. Habe mal wieder ein Projekt:


    Asus ROG Strix B550-F WiFi

    AMD 3900x

    Radeon RX560


    Die AMD-Patches für den 12-Kerner sind drin. Installer bricht bei [EB|LOG:EXITBS:START] ab --> Reboot.


    Habe dies schon versucht:

    mit welchem tool bearbeitest du die efi und hat es einen bestimmten grund weshalb du sowohl usbinjectall.kext als auch den usbmap.kext aktiv hast?

    Ich konnte mit der angehängten EFI Ventura 13.6.6 installieren. Sonoma 14.4.1 allerdings nicht…


    Ich werde es später nochmals auf einer neuen Platte versuchen.

    Sonoma klappt nicht. Bootschleife an der gleichen Stelle.


    Was ist bei Sonoma anders?

    bei sonoma ist unter anderem amfi mit dabei, du könntest auch mal den haken bei hide verbose wegmachen , sowie bei minkernel und minversion jeweils eine "-1" reinschreiben, die 0 durch -1 ersetzen.

    dann noch den restrictevents.kext mit einfügen sowie die bootargs .

    für amfipass und den restrictevents.kext wäre es "revpatch=sbvmm -amfipassbeta"


    -da ich kein amdsystem habe, kann ich dir dazu im speziellen nix sagen, da fehlt die praxis, mir fällt dazu halt immer nur ein, das die patches jeweils zum os und ggf. dem smbios passen müssen

    - es wäre desweiteren auch mal prima, wenn du die frage beantworten würdest, welches tool du zum editieren der config.plist nimmst.


    fabiosun fällt dir da noch etwas in seiner efi auf-any ideas about his efi?

    Du hast recht. Entschuldige. Ich nutze entweder OpenCore Configurator oder ProperTree, beides in der Mac-Version. Für Ventura hat es ja auch gut geklappt …

    Ich werde deine Vorschläge morgen mal umsetzen und Rückmeldung geben.

    In sonoma (with AMD CPU) you have to disable Secureboot (if you have on Default set it to disable), then download again the update if you are using a delta update to upgrade your Ventura OS

    Es geht um ein Clean Install von Sonoma, nicht um ein Update von Ventura.

    SecureBootModel from Default to Disabled (if you have a bootloop) others Config.plist parts are fine (you can disable many not mandatory kext to install, but SecureBootModel should be enough to set as i said to have success)
