macOS Big Sur Opencore not working

    Hallo zusammen,


    ich versuche jetzt seit Tagen eine Opencore Config für Big Sur zu erstellen (Clean Install). Leider ohne Erfolg. Ich habe eine funktionierende Opencore Config für Catalina welche aber nicht funktioniert.

    Ich habe es mit Opencore 0.6 versucht, diverse image builds mit Skylake EFI benutzt, habe Prebuilts von ähnlichen Builds genommen aber leider nichts zu machen. Könntet ihr euch mal meine EFI Config anschauen ob euch was auffällt oder auch ggf. anpassen? Config erstellt nach dem Video von CTT

    Hardware Specs und EFI habe ich unten angefügt. Vielen Dank im Voraus an alle. :)

    Dir fehlt vsmcgen=1 als bootarg und die neuesten kexte. Lade sie dir mit dem Kext Updater runter.

    Danke für die schnelle Unterstützung. Leider hat es auch nicht geholfen. boot arg drin und Kexts sind updated trotzdem kein boot.

    Du musst die Nightly builds mit dem Kext Manager herunterladen. Ist opencore aktuell?

    Das hat auf jeden fall was gebracht. Läuft deutlich weiter. Nightly Build Opencore und Nightly build kext benutzt. Trotzdem endet es wie folgt. :(

    Wozu hänge ich eigentlich einen Screenshot mit den Rot Umrandeten Nightly Builds an? :/

    In deiner EFI passt die config.plist nicht zu der neuen OC Nighly Version. Vergleiche deine config.plist mit der Sample.plist aus dem Nightly Build. Nutze dazu das Programm DiffMerge

    In the old Clover, I could configure config.plist. I edited the icons in the GUI, disabled the display.

    Now config.plist does not respond to modifications in the Clover Configurator.

    How do I disable e.g. Recovery icon ??

    After updating to Big Sur, the icon was renamed to Preboot. How do I rename it when I can't?

    No!!!

    What are you doing on the Opencore Config.plist with clover configurator?! :/

    Plist Editor or opencore configurator.

    Text Edit also works.

    Use ShowAllFiles to expose hidden files. Create a file named .disk_label.contentDetails with TextEdit on your Desktop and wrote down the Name you want. Save the file. Mount the Big Sur Preboot Volume on Catalina (see screenshots) and navigate to

    /Volumes/Preboot/GUUID/System/Library/CoreServices/ then drag&drop the file .disk_label.contentDetails into it. Take care .disk_label.contentDetails don't get the .txt suffix.

    In OC you are missing some things in the driver, and ACPI some SSDT. I have been looking for a suitable EFI for my board for a long time. I finally found it here in the discussion.


    Try this EFI in the attachment, you have nothing to lose.
