Handoff aktivieren

    mein MacPro 3.1 läuft sehr gut bis auf eine Kleinigkeit.
    Handoff geht nicht, Airdrop geht.
    Fehler für mich die Mac-Board-ID.

    Also die Voraussetzungen sind gegeben.
    Laut Google sollte MacPro 3.1 nicht das Problem sein, würde aber auch eine andere Systemdefinition nehmen wenn nötig.


    Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich Handoff zum laufen bringe?

    ist das einfach.
    Im SMBIOS deines Hauptsystems ist keine richtige Board-ID eingetragen.
    Für MacPro3,1 muss das "Mac-F42C88C8" sein.

  • Nun, ich denke es liegt wohl daran:

    3. MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 and later)
    4. MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015)
    5. iMac (Late 2012 and later)
    6. Mac mini (Late 2012 and later)
    7. Mac Pro (Late 2013)


    Der MacPro3,1 entspricht "Early 2008"


    Dann wäre vielleicht ein Wechsel auf ein anderes SMBIOS eine Möglichkeit.
    Für deine Konfig wäre iMac13,2 eine valide Möglichkeit.

    Danke, habe meinen Mac umkonfiguriert, jetzt als iMac 13.2,
    Continuity/Handoff, iMessage, Facetime funktioniert.(wobei iMessage und Facetime schon vorher funktioniert haben)
