    Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Sonoma 14.4.1 mit OCLP zu installieren?


    Mit 14.4 ging es, einen Installer zu erzeugen, bei 14.4.1 bringt OCLP eine Fehlermeldung das keine valide OS Quelle gefunden werden kann.

  • Dropbox syncronisiert auf RAID System (gefühlt) immer??

    nutze jetzt APFS. Da hat funktioniert Index unter Spotlight. (paar hunderttausend Files) Als Backup schiebe ich weiterhin die Daten auf OpenZFS unter macOS. Bzw. FreeNAS als NAS Storage.


    Spotlight hat ab Monterey oder Ventura unter OpenZFS nicht mehr funktioniert. Bis dahin aber ein paar Jahre lang unauffällig.


    Im Vergleich zu APFS, eher unauffällig. APFS hat mir ein Laufwerk zerfleddert.


    OpenZFS gibt es für Windows (da noch irgendwo in Entwicklung), Unix, macOS. Man kann, wenn man das FS auch auf Wechselmedium-FS benutzen.

    Grundsätzlich würde ich nicht davon ausgehen, dass eine macOS Installation, die auf einen internem Drive installiert wurde, sich auf einem anderen Rechner booten lässt.


    Apple erzeugt Signaturen, Zertifikate ... die an die Hardware-Identität gebunden sind, behaute ich mal.


    Auf einem externen Laufwerk sieht die Sache anders aus.


    Der Migrations-Assistent sollte - in der Theorie - gute Dienste leisten.

    Fujitsu Livebook 556 mit i5-6200U mit Intel HD 520. (Big Sur, Monterey)

    Fujitsu Desktop mit intel 4770 Intel HD 4600

    Fujitsu Desktop (h81 chipset oder so) mit Intel 4160 Intel HD 4400 und XFX 7750.


    was kann ich denn anstellen bezüglich Ventura (oder Sonoma)?


    Vor allem bezüglich des Livebook 556?

    Ich habe es auf zwei Systemen probiert (eines neu auf Ventura geupdated), immer mit dem gleichen Fehler.

    Hat jemand Überblick über die Qualität von solchen Systemen?


    Mein subjektiver Eindrücke bzw. Befürchtungen sind:

    • die Systeme aus Kostengründen Bauteile unterdimensioniert (im Grenzbereich dann schneller defekt) bzw.
    • allgemein die Qualität nicht so hoch ist, Stichwort "China Schrott"

    Wenn man das günstige kauft, kauf man eventuell 2mal ...

  • BIOS backup mit Clip - CH341a

    Ich bin etwas ratlos.


    Versuche ein BIOS backup mit CH341a und Clip zu machen (as programmer, neoprogrammer, flashrom). Das scheint soweit irgendwie Daten zu liefern, aber die bin-Images sind nicht identisch, wenn ich mit md5 die Checksummen berechne.


    Das ich "Daten-Müll" produziere, schließe ich aus, da die Daten im Hex-Editor - mit bloßem Auge - sehr identisch scheinen und die Daten Text enthalten, der Sinn ergibt.


    Auch wird der Chip, ein Winbond W25Q128FV von den eingesetzten Programmen richtig erkannt.
