Dual system startup WINDOWS / OSX startup entry problem

  • I have a multi-hard disk configuration (in Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5), a more specific win10 UEFI disk and a UEFI Sierra disk with ozmosis boot loader. Reboot my Sierra I get another boot entry that needs to reset NVRAM just a short solution,
There will also be blank start entries.
If you know, please help me, thank you

    Mainboard: G1.Sniper M5
    CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
    Graphics: EVGA NVIDIA GTX770
    RAM: 16G DDR3
    OperatingSystem(s): windows10/mac os sierra 10.13.0
    More stuff: BCM943602CSAX
    Bootloader: ozmosis 167X

  • Hi there...
is it Sierra (10.12.x) oder High Sierra (10.13.x)?
With High Sierra there is this issue that Ozmosis is not able to find the APFS-based Disk by itself.

There seem to be a couple of Shell-commands which might help you in that case...
But I'm not able to help with them, since I don't use Ozmosis.

  • There should be no such problems at all. Please discribe exactly what you do before the extra boot entry appears do you just reboot Sierra or do you choose SystemSettings->Startup Disk -> Sierra and hit reboot?

  • As it is shown in the picture.
