  • Thank You Mo-6420.I tried attached kext, didn't work. Then I tried Generic Card Reader Driver Friend! Also didn't work. I followed the guide and inserted what I think is correct:Still nothing. I also tried with 33313 as idProduct but to no avail.Guide says that reader should be visible under USB, but it's not, so I think we're missing some steps here.As I said, it's not a big deal for me but if we can do better, why not. Best regards,Goran
  • I recreated SSDT-PM. Script properly detected proc and built SSDT, but If I try to use it, processor stays at 800MHz, so I reenabled Delete Cpu0Ist and Delete CpuPm. One core is listed as 3.2 and other as 3.0 turbo and Intel power gadget shows 3.0 max and proper scaling. I'll settle with that.Per Your advice, I used Clover to create SSDTs, but it created 21 file, including couple of DSDTs. I don't know what I need from all that, and with proper SSDTs and Open Core You shouldn't need DSDT at all,…
  • (Zitat von Mo-6420)Hi,thanks for the input. It wasn't a problem with USB, rather with SSDTs. I made new SSDT tables with SSDTTime and copied SSDT-PNLF and IMEI SSDT from pre-made e6420 efi. Fiddled a little with the sound but now have a working USB, sound...I have a problem with CPU PM. I created SSDT-PM with ssdtPRGen (instructions) but when I disable Drop CpuPm and Drop Cpu0Ist from ACPI/Delete and use created ssdt-pm, processor stays at 0.8GHz. If I don't use SSDT-PM.aml and enable these two i…
  • Hi,I'm trying to use my e6420 (i5, HD3000, 8GB, SSD) as High Sierra hackintosh.I tried with latest opencore, but USB ports don't work and i can't boot with SMBIOS set to macbookpro8,1. I tried with latest Clover and USB and other things work, but laptop goes to sleep after boot. Can You share Your latest OC folder, one that works with HS? Or You think Clover is better?Best regards,Goran
  • (Zitat)WOL works now. What I did:1. Installed AppleIntelE1000, didn't work, reinstalled IntelMausiEthernet. WOL didn't work.2. Installed latest FakeSMC sensors and went through BIOS settings. Turned on Intel Rapid Start and checked in Network Adapter that WOL is turned on there also. WOL worked but no sensors in HW Monitor.3. Reinstalled old Sensors and rebooted. WOL still works4. Turned off Intel Rapid start in BIOS. WOL still works! So, I have exactly the same setup as before but WOL is working…
  • FakeSMC is couple of revisions old but it shouldn't matter. All others are up to date.
  • I use darkwake=0 since 10.9 and it worked before. Didn't try other values. In energy saver there are checks at "Put hard disks to sleep..." and "Wake for Ethernet...".There is an interresting thing in kernel log when going to sleep:2018-05-11 15:58:34.550248+0200 0x76 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleCredentialManager) AppleCredentialManager: powerStateWillChangeToGated: SYSTEM WILL SLEEP.2018-05-11 15:58:34.550314+0200 0x151 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleCredentialManager) AppleCredentialManager: h…
  • Hi,after updating HS my WOL stopped working. It worked for sure in El Capitan, not sure in what version of HS stopped to work. I'm using Ozmosis as bootloader and IntelMausiEthernet (in S/L/E) for network. I created ssdt.aml with ssdtPRGen, and put it in EFI/Oz/Acpi/Load/.WOL is enabled in BIOS, wake for network access is checked(Quelltext, 18 Zeilen) If I put machine to sleep, WOL works for a short time, but not working if I let it sleep for a while.WOL packet is reaching the machine from LAN a…
