Hi taube111111,Here is my rigs:- MOBO: X79 with dual CPU socket (which looks exact the same as yours.)- CPUs: 2 Xeon E5 2689- ram: 32GB- SSD: Kinston Savage 960GB- SSD NVMe: WD SN550 250GB- HDD: WD Black 6TB- VGA: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 4GB- Wifi: Fenvi T919I have used your EFI but I'm unable to boot to the installer. I always end up with being stuck at ++++++ just like b.oerki did no matter I use boot flag cpus=1 or not.I have some bios settings that are quite common:- Serial port: Disabled- Se…

Hello,I have exact motherboard. My CPU is Xeon E5 2689 with 32GB of RAM and a RX 480 4GB GPU.I keep getting the kernel panic as in the picture provided belowPlease check the attached EFI folder and give me suggestions to fix this issue

(Zitat von robcodemax)Thank you. I'll give a try.

Hi robcodemax I have a couple of questions:I thought that using DSDT in OpenCore with negate all SSDT patches, only things in DSDT will apply. But you are using DSDT with some other SSDTs. Are all of them working together?I don't have a Mac to run Rehabman's MacIasl. Is there anyway to edit my DSDT in Windows?Could you share me guideline for your audio patches also? My board has ALC662.I'm using a Chinese mobo too, but not Huananzhi. The one I'm using looks exactly same as the one from the owner…

(Zitat von robcodemax)That can't be better. Please find in the attachment my DSDT .Please note that I'm using 2 CPU Xeon E5 2689 as mentioned above. Thank you so much in advance.

(Zitat von robcodemax)I've installed mac on several PCs with success and all of them use OpenCore. Recently, I've installed Big Sur on a PC using X79 chinese mobo with Xeon E5 2420 v2 (socket 1356). I have never edited my DSDT to install Mac either, because the OpenCore guideline tells me not to use DSDT. But I do need to make SSDT patches (mostly SSDT-EC) and tweak config.plist in order to boot into installer successfully. Now I'm installing Monterey on my rigs with the mobo mentioned above. I c…

(Zitat von robcodemax)I still meet the same panic. Please find in the attachment my EFI folders utilizing both of your DSDT files to see if I have configured anything wrong.(Zitat von haingo)

(Zitat von robcodemax)I have tried to use your EFI with DSDTFULLPATCHED you gave along with SSDT-PMC and SSDT-PLUG generated by SSDTTime. But there is no option to boot into installer. I put the recovery image in com.apple.recovery.boot folder as mentioned here and it does show an option to boot into that with my EFI.Though there are many SSDT files in your ACPI folder, there only 3 of them are used in your config.plist: SSDT-UNC, SSDT-EC-DESKTOP, SSDT-EC-USBX. So I have to modify the your confi…

(Zitat von robcodemax)HideAuxiliraly really did the trick. I use my PLUG, PMC, UNC and the fully patched DSDT as you suggested but now I face with another error below.
-
(Zitat von robcodemax)Hm it seems to get stuck there. I think I had waited for more than 5 minutes. I can give another try. I will try to disable those SSDT too.
-
Hurray!!! Disabling DSDT and keeping the 3 SSDTs worked. I can boot into the recovery image now But I cannot control my USB mouse and keyboard. Let me try to use the usb mapping.
-
It's socket 0 actually. Btw, I've used USBToolBox before. I thought we have to remove UTBDefault.kext once we get our own UTBMap.kext.
-
no you're not wrong. I used dual cpu setup actually. But I failed to boot into mac installer so i unplugged power cable of the second socket to try.I cant boot into recovery image now. Very likely due to the usbtoolbox. I will try with your kexts. But even I can boot now, installing from recovery will take alot of time as my internet now is tereibly slow to download mac
-
It's SCK1. The DSDT I sent you in the beginning was the one for dual socket.
-
I can't boot into mac recovery with dual socket. I will try to install with only one cpu then
-
I tried your EFI. Without USBToolBox I can boot into the recovery image but usb keyboard and mouse won't work. Using UsbToolbox makes my PC restart during boot process. It seems that the same will thing happen if I use other USB-related kexts such as USBInjectAll. Please note that I have xhciportlimit disabled in config.plist as it won't work on mac 11.3 or later.
-
robcodemax you are just genius!!Turning off XHCI handoff and EHCI handoff solved my problem I cannot boot with dual cpu though. So i will install with 1 cpu then
-
(Zitat von robcodemax)Actually, I have been using your latest EFI with USBMap.kext is the only modification to get USB keyboard and mouse work (along with turning off XHCI hand-off and EHCI hand-off). I mentioned above that I cannot boot with dual CPU. The screen gets stuck at[EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] With single CPU, I can pass this point.
-
(Zitat von robcodemax)Using taube111111's EFI with dual CPU makes my screen gets stuck at the same point mentioned above. Single CPU setup with his EFI makes my PC restart during boot process so I haven't tried to modify it further.

I've got Monterey installed now but there are several issues:1. PC restarts during boot process before reaching Apple logo screen at very high rate. Let's say I can boot into Monterey only once in 3-4 tries.2. CPU power management is not working3. Audio is not working
