Vor 6 Jahren hab ich dieses Notebook schonmal als Hacki aufgesetzt, mit Clover & ElCapitan/Sierra, wie hier OSX El Capitan Installation auf Dell Vostro 3558 & hier macOS Sierra Installation auf Dell Vostro 3558 zu sehen ist.Weil ich damals mit dem Dell Laptop an sich nicht zufrieden war hab ich ihn wieder mit Windows bestückt & in der Familie weiter gegeben. Jetzt hab ich ihn vor kurzem wieder zurück bekommen. Weil ich Bock auf etwas Bastelarbeit habe, hab ich beschlossen ihn mit OpenCore & Vent… -
MacGrummel MacPeetDanke Jungs für eure Antworten.SMBios, das heiß ich kann also ein MBP12,1 SMBios erstellen, bennene es in der Config als 14,1 & Ventura startet. Hab ichs richtig verstanden?Ich glaub könnte sein das der Kartenleser von Realtek ist.Ich werd das Morgen & Übermorgen mal testen & dann berichten. 😀

Kurzes Update 😀Habe wie von MacPeet beschrieben das SMBIOS geändert & er wird jetzt auch unter Ventura als MBP von 2015 erkannt. So wie ich es haben wollte.Der SD Kartenleser ist von Realtek "RTS5129 USB 2.0/3.0 Card Reader" & wird von der RealtekCardReader.kext unterstützt.Damit der Kartenleser & die WebCam laufen brauchte ich zusätzlich noch einen USB Controller Rename.In den nächsten Tagen werde ich dann noch das USB Port Mapping neu machen & dann sollte es fertig sein.

Hello darthwilson 👋😀Yes I have finally got everything working on the Dell Vostro 3558. As apfel-baum wrote it, I also followed the instructions of Dortania. I also advise you to do this, the learning process is very helpful if you have to adjust something later. You can also take a look at my OpenCore Config which I posted above. But you have to modify the Config for your notebook in any case. Change SMBIOS & driver Kext for WLAN/Bluetooth etc. I replaced the original Intel WiFi card with a Broa…

darthwilsonYou can also start right away with Ventura.The configuration with OpenCore is no different than with Monterey. You only have to do 2 things additionally. When you have generated the SMBIOS for "MacbookPro 2015" & enter it in the Config.plist, you name it as MBP14.1 or newer, instead of MBP12.1. And you have to install after the macOS installation, the missing graphics drivers for the Intel graphics with OpenCore Legacy Patcher. Like it used to be on Windows.That's all. 😀For your unde…
