How much battery life are you getting? I feel like the fan is running constantly with BigSur.

SirusX I dont have any problems with my desktop dual booting with Win 10; OC boots fine. But both my laptops does not boot to Win 10 with OC because of the ACPI patches (I think). Since I have them on separate drives, booting is easy. Otherwise, you have to use the "Boot from efi file" option, if one is available.

Latest version of VoodooPS2 (2.1.7) breaks trackpad. The trackpad is not being recognized. Works fine with 2.1.6. Using Opencore 0.6.2

yes, tried the logout/login method, but that didnt help either. iMessages and Facetime have no issues. Icloud works great, but Appstore is the only problem. Again all this is with Xerano's efi.

Yes, Facetime and iMessage works just fine. Appstore keeps asking me login.

That is the only I can boot. I used the efi from Xerano, but i have issues with appstore.
-
Yes, both are enabled.
I even tried the OC folder from xerano; it boots fine, but have issues with the app store.

Thank you for your help. I have tried the myvar test; it works after a reboot. But at a second reboot; the Reset NVRAM or Clean NVRAM doesnt do anything; as the myvar is still in NVRAM.

are you using the same opencore config.plist on both Elitebooks?
THe 840 G1 is a Haswell; the 450 G5 is KabyLake. The Opencore configs are different.

I have everything working on my 840G1 with Catalina and Opencore. But for some reason, I cannot tell if my NVRAM is working. On my other laptop; HP 450 G5, if my select control and macos at the opencore picker, it makes it default. But on my 840 G1, it does not stick. Any ideas?
