Hi, after installing OS with OC as bootloader power management of CPU doesn't properly working, and overall OS's activity feels clunky (long load of features after OS load).

Can someone take a look and give some guidance about what to do?

Hi, recently I've updated to OC 0.6.4, but still have problems with power management/CPU.

I don't understand how properly turn on it with e3-1245 V3 Xeon.

Can someone please take a look at my config, I want to gully go for OC.

In archive, there's IOreg, EFI folder, and ssdt that I made with the script, but don't understand how to properly redact.

Need some help guys, can't understand my CPU power management working or not.

Hi all, it's been a while.

While I caught that nasty new virus, decided to finish off with moving from Oz to OP.

I made an EFI, installed 10.15.7 right now BS update came. So i gave it a try and can't understand couple thins.

1) Is my CPU working properly?

2) What else i missing to make it fully working?

If someone would have spare 10 minutes, give a look to included IOreg and EFI. Mush appreciated!

p.s. I forgot about ssdtPRGen.sh. Can i jut put SSDT that script made into OP ACPI folder, or there's should some manipulations be made?

I can't kinda don't understand how to make iGPU work properly and my searching parties did not evaluate in any success.

Maybe someone had any luck with making p4600 woking like 4600?

While i used Oz, i just turned off iGPU because of complications of masking and making it work considering that time to time i had to update.

Right now i understand that there's should be masking included, but nothing specific on this topic.

XMAX-E only works until 11.0 Beta 3 now. KernelCollections doesn´t work (now) with [user = '7973'] cecekpawon [/ user] ´s KernextPatcher. You would also need OpenRuntimeFTW for that.

Currently im using latest OZ with 10.15.7 (19H2). But the idea that all the scripts that assemble DSDT/SSDT doing it from bios rom, that currently infused with OZ, logically should be stock or im overthinking and can play with current setup (Oz infused bios)?

Currently i'm working on Oz, but while it's eol cycle passed, found some time to finally make it right with OC.

But before I start, need some help with couple questions:

1. While i have Oz bios flashed, to make clean configuration with dortania.github.io and automatic scripts to generate DSDT / SSDT (i never was good with them manually) i need to flash before stock MB bios?
2. I have AMD RX580 and currently using it with Oz like primary and only GPU. Is there a way to make work my CPU's iGPU? Basically it's same 4600, but p4600. I didn't find any way in internet, maybe someone here had similar problems?

Current config is:

MB - GA-Z97X-UD3H

CPU - E3 1245 V3
GPU -- Sapphire RX 580

Hi guys, once again i would ask you for help.

I made new OZ rom with new KernextPatcher.plist, but i didn't save it properly and flashed old ROM.

After update, it's not working with obvious reasons and my attempts to add KernextPatcher.plist to EFI partition didn't give my any releaf.

So, i would like to ask you to flash new KernextPatcher.plist to my existing ROM and save me from installing VM with macos.

Sorry for such a delay in response, i've managed to install Catalina with your ROM.

I still don't know how, after i received bios you made- i extracted and changed Oz defaults. But after flashing and flushing NVram nothing changed. Yes, i still got that strange flickering of screen in bios (it's happening only with OZ) but couple hours ago i managed to make clean BIOS implementation and now writing you from fresh Cata.

I've had OZ for 14.x system, but now struggling to update it for work with catalina. Couple my attempts didn't get any reasualt.

Can you please take a look on my rom and help with updating it?

IGPU disabled, no updates been made or hardware changed. Right now I'm trying to go through all bios setting and verify it. Will try to post some screenshots.
p.s. windows are on separate SSD, installed before mac os. to avoid bananas while installing windows - in always leave only one disk drive connected to a motherboard.

System working after cables for sata been swaped for new ones. Don't understand why windows was working, but its working now. Maybe the reason is construction that started couple days ago near and when I leave opened window dust is going in, or old cables had bad connection.

Yes, I've reset NVRAM couple times, even reflashed bios, couple times for original —> Oz rom, restoring bios settings and still all the same.

What I did today is:
All that I did yesterday, tried to flash OZ, but eventually, nothing is happening.
The methodology was like this:
1) Flash Oz infused ROM, hit ESC, bios setting to default and then make them proper. Reset
2) Hit f12 for boot menu and performing NVRamm rest (screen is flickering, reboot)
3) After boot, OZ "infusion" part and loading SSD with Mac Os installed - nothing. Not verbose mode or HDD activity on a computer case.
4) Logging again into bios, turning off CSM - same result.
5) Installing MacOs 10.13 USB drive and fresh unused SSD - same thing, just black screen, and nothing moving forward.

All these steps I performed with 3 Oz distros, and still, the result is the same. Windows working without any problems, what's wrong with Oz and why it's not loading - I don't even understand.
TO eliminate the problem with "corrupted from" all these countless bios reflashes were performed by 3 different flash drives and checksum of ROM files were the same. SO bios files are not corrupted.
I don't understand the direction where to dig in, because of nothing unusual been made, and if there were something magical, other things are not affected by it.

p.s. P-RAM Reset - for some reason i call it NVRAM reset.

Yesterday I unfortunately encounter a problem and don't understand what it is and how to manage it. Everything was okay, but after I turn off pc and went to work, after came back home and turned on the pc - it went south like that:

Whay I did :
Refladhed bios, tried couple, bios setting, different ssd's with pre-installed Mac os. Eventually the results are the same, it just blink and nothing booting. Verbose or other mode - not working.

After couple days of trials and errors, I can definitely confirm that it's working. I'm currently writing this from Mac Os driven by OZ! Thank you griven! I don't know much about OZ, but taking off IGPU made it work. Shame that i won't be able to use IGPU for a spare monitor, but that's not a big deal. Now there's time for making right settings.

I was able to watch the Video now and I absolutely have no real clue but a good guess why this is happening. I made another version of the unsolid flavoured rom where I left out some unnecessary stuff also I tweaked the defaults to exclude any kind of Intel Injection (please make sure your IGPU is disabled in Bios as well do not only set the NVIDIA to primary display but also completely disable your iGPU since the P4600 will not work at all). Please also delete any defaults.plist you may have on /EFI/OZ to make sure my modifications get loaded (I enabled verbose Mode by default to see what's going on). Please give it a try and report how it's going.

With this ROM I cant enter bios settings, only f12 or "end" menu works. When I try to enter bios settings, I've got an only flickering monitor like it's searching for video connection and that's all. Nvram working as on video, after boot nothing happens or freezing.
