  • Dual Boot Options

    Hi Hackintosh fans,


    I have a question. I have read and understood how to install the 10.11 Mac OS X on my PC and have even prepared the USB.
    Unfortunately I am really not ready to lose all the things that I have on Win7 and to switch to Mac entirely.
    I have read of a dual boot method that includes instaling both Mac and Win anew.
    Is there an option to keep my current win installation and just add an installation of Mac on the other partition.


    Can you please answer the following questions:
    1) Is it possible in general and is it possible on my system?
    2) Can you please explain how?

    P.S. Sorry about appearing a noob, I have never used Mac and am generaly a novice in the Mac Architecture.
    Sorry for not writing in German. I have posted on another forum but didn't recieve any replies.


    My specs:
    Model: Dell Inpiron 5720,
    CPU: i7-3612QM @ 2.1GHz
    RAM: 8GB RAM
    GPU: Nvidia 630m
    1TB HDD
    Patitions: C and D currently, where C is the System Drive with Win7 installed on it and D is the Storage.
