Mac Pro (early 2009), 5.1 Radeon RX580 (Mojave) ohne Bootmenü auf Montery Patchen, geht das?

als erstes würde ich beim oclp selbst gucken, ob und in wieweit dein mac modell unterstützt wird-im anschluß weißt du inwiefern dein vorhaben möglich oder gescheitert ist-> wenn diese frage geklärt ist, geht es ggf. weiter.

- das ohne bootmenüanzeige? - wäre dann ein schalter im oclp bzw. dessen efi

wie ist es so mit deinem englisch bestellt? z.b. deepl. -

edit-möglich das damit eben notebooks-macbooks gemeint sind- da dein mac vermutlich usb 1.x und nicht 2.0 hat, wirst du bis du den oclp bis zum schluß ausgeführt hast-eine externe tastatur/maus benötigen, die nötigen treiber für die usb-versorgung kommen erst -nach- dem patch zum einsatz.

ganz wichtig-so dem apfeltalker, der das -immer- erwähnt, -bevor- du die aktion machst, mache ein backup-> kein backup, kein mitleid- , die ganze aktion ist erst durch, wenn sie durch ist, und das kann mitunter je nach hardware -dauern- also dabei ebenfalls den rechner am netz lassen und den pc ggf. nicht ausschalten (bei notebooks)..

edit- sprich die meldung kann auch einen bezug zu eben notebooks haben-bei welchen während der installation von "monterey" dann eben die tastatur sowie mous/pad nicht nutzbar sind-

das tritt bei deinem mac 5.1 mod wohlmöglich nicht auf, umso besser

if you have a Mac Pro 4.1 you have to verify some things in it

It is possible to use an apple firmware to flash it to latest 144.0.0.0.0 boot rom and use also OSX like sonoma (using OCLP)

this is from my hack (later i will post the same thing i have in my mac pro 4.1/5.1

It is a simple procedure to do, a bit tricky but it is possible alo with a poor experience in this field (as me i mean)

Then, ye it is possible to boot and also see boot menu using your RX580, and it is also possible to flash the firmware with it

Mac Pro 4.1 data

this below are the value that OCLP spoof/inject:

as you can see i have also update the xeon to a 6 cores xeons (Mac Pro 5.1)

this original data after installing Mojave 10.14.4

installing latest Mojave will upgrade the firmware to 144.0.0.0.0

from there you can update till latest macOS Sonoma using OCLP

i stopped my system to Monterey because i have installed a RX 6600 GPU whic OCLP supprts by now only in Monterey

your RX 580 works also in Sonoma
