    Hallo Gemeinde,

    Ich habe ein Problem, den habe ich Dank "Griven" die Efi soweit fertig nur ich komme nur bis hier (Siehe Bild 1) und das war es.


    Was muss ich noch machen damit ich es am laufen bekomme, ich wollte montery recovery installieren und habe es mir auch so besorgt wie es beim OpenCore beschrieben wird.

    Deshalb bitte ich die Community um Hilfe.

    MSI 500 Boards verursachen PCIe Probleme mit Monterey auf neueren BIOS Versionen. Da du ein Zen 2 hast, könntest du auf eine alte BIOS Version (bevor Zen 3) downgraden und probieren.

    Nee an der Stelle einfach mal "Press Space to Continue" :p

    Der TE hat den Stick strikt nach Dortania mit dem Phython Script erstellt und das ist nunmal ein Recovery welches der OC Picker per default versteckt. Einmal Space drücken und der Eintrag sollte wohl erscheinen *gg*

    Also der Balken geht circa 15 % und dann gibt es Neustart naja weiter probieren. Trotzdem danke dir

    oder ich lass es erstmal so und versuche es mit big sur, mehr als das es auch nicht geht kann ja nicht passieren 😁

    If you are using EFI posted in OP it is wrong if you have a 3700x

    You are using Kernel patches (First three in list) for a 12 cores cpu (12c+12t) you can verify a value of 0C inside them (08 it is fine for a 8 +8 cores/threads)


    Also Kext declaration has a wrong order

    If you like to try, backup yours and try this:


    EFI.zip


    If it hangs post debug.log file and where your system Hangs

    So Gemeinde er lüppt und zwar mit BigSur, ohne jetzt ein BiosDowngrade zu machen.

    Was jetzt noch zu tun ist ihn auf 8core zu stellen.

    Aber soweit lüppt alles

    Hecatomb in my EFI is set and also correct CPU cores are there..but maybe it is my English.... :)

    But my German is also Worst :) :)

    Everything is fine, it will tinker a little more and then it will work

    Bios is not Zen related

    Motherboard related

    Usually Zen 2 could work for all OSX you would like to install till OSX Ventura

    Worst case that could happen it is you have to install an old bios for your Motherboard if you have problem with MSI board (usually x570 board)

    Hello yes His efi always makes problems or does not always say errors when loading the config, but everything is fine that will be fine

    bei meinem Board war es vor dem Update auf das amd cu 1.1.0.0 oder wie das hies, hab das einfach mal bei Google erfragt
