P8Z77-I GPU Encoding

  • P8Z77-I, i7 3770, 16GB RAM. Im Slot sitzt eine RX560, von der ich weiß, dass sie unter MacOS tadellos funktioniert.

    Dennoch krieg ich GPU Encoding absolut nicht hin. Config im Anhang. iGPU im BIOS enabled, wird auch von macOS erkannt (HD4000).


    Wo setze ich da bloß an? Das System ist als iMac14,4 konfiguriert, iMac Pro macht Probleme bei h.264.

    mit dem iMacPro-SMBIOS und einer AMD Radeon RX560 muss das funktionieren. Ich habe das schon öfter am Laufen gehabt:

    Auf dem Screenshot ist zwar ein i5-3570 aufgeführt, aber ich habe auch einen i7-3770 hier im Fundus. Beide CPUs kamen u.a. auf einem ASUS P8H77-M Pro und einem ASUS P8H77-I zum Einsatz. Immer mit iMacPro1,1-SMBIOS und der RX560. Die iGPU muss dabei natürlich im BIOS deaktiviert werden. :)

    Dennoch krieg ich GPU Encoding absolut nicht hin.

    Wie testest du das? VideoProc?

    Jetzt klappt der HEVC Encoder in Hardware, aber wie schon früher bricht H.264 sofort nach Start ab (Handbrake).

    iMac1,1. DeviceProperty gelöscht, iGPU deaktiviert.

    Ein paar Neustarts später klappt auch h.264 in Hardware. Ich weiß nicht warum. iMac Pro. Danke!
